The CMP-03-Series solar charge controller applies a microchip for intelligent control.The
charging efficiency can be highly increased by using dual-mos charging circuit ,compared to normal

Operation instruction
1.Charging and display: After the controller is connected right, if the charging indicator is still not illuminating, this means the sunshine is weak or there is not sunshine.
And if the charging indicator is illuminating, it means the controller is charging the battery. When the indicator flickers, it means the battery enters into float charging mode,
and this can make the
battery at full charging state to lengthen the longevity of the battery. Only when the controller detects the battery over discharging, can it start the
hoisting charging mode.
2.Battery capacity and display: When the battery indicator is red flickering, the load will shut time-delayed to protect the battery.

load working mode instruction and setting
1. Normal mode : controller is used as PWM charging controller without lighting and timer function. Controller is at this mode without special request.
2. Lighting and timer controlling mode: At this mode, the controller will start the load after darkness and will close the load after setting hours(or sunrise).
3. Lighting control mode: At this mode, when the solar panels voltage is lower than 2.5V(for 24V system, 5V. for 48V system, 10V), controller will start the load after 10 seconds.
When the solar panels voltage is higher then 3.5V(for 24V system, 7V. for 48V system, 14V), controller will close the load after 10 seconds.

General Introduction
CM20S solar charge controller is especially designed by industrial degree MCU SCM with high-performance and excellent quality, and designed for home solar power system and solar power station.
Functions:
1) Battery management function:
Over-charge protection and over-discharge protection ensure the normal using and prolong the longevity of battery.
2) Temperature compensation function:
Auto adjust the setting data of battery management program control parameters to avoid the battery “under-voltage” in winter and “over-charge” in summer.
3) Multi-protections:
Battery reverse connection, over-voltage and low-voltage protections, solar panel short-circuit protection, auto. Resume output, and output short-circuit protections.
Connections
Connecting all parts correctly according to the following drawing, make sure polarity is right. The order is as follows.
Connect the controller with the battery first, then connect the solar panel, finally connect the load.
Disconnect from the controller: disconnect the load first, then solar panel, finally disconnect the batteries.
When connect the lines, make sure the “+” and “-” are not reversely connected.
Do not connect the line of battery to the solar panel terminal.
Do not connect any regulated power supply or charger to the solar panel terminal.
Status Indication
If the connection is correct, the indicators will show the capacity of the battery, and the load indicator will be on.
The charging indicator will be on when it is at charging state, and the charge indicator will flicker when the battery is charged full.
When the battery is in low capacity, the battery indicator will flicker. It means you need to charge the battery now.
The load indicator on or off represents there is load output or there is no load output.

Installation
1. Ready tools and cables. Encourage you to matching the right cables. Ensure that the current density<4mm2 that is conductive to reducing the line voltage drop. Recommended: 60A with 20mm2 cable. Check weather the installation sitescompliance with the relevant safety requirements. Please avoid the damp, dusty, there is a place flammable, explosive and corrosive gases use the controller to install.
2. Install the controller into a fixed vertical plane. See section 5 of the pore size and pore spacing. In order to ensure a good thermal control conditions, please set aside each 10cm below the controller space.
3. As shown on the right, connect the (1) Load, (2) Battery and (3) Solar Panel to the controller according to the order of (1) (2) (3). Pay attention to the load, battery, solar panel and controller of same polarity.
4. Put into the external temperature sensor on the left of the controller (probe port). The temperature sensor should be similar space with battery. (Otherwise, the controller will control the parameters of all wrong temperature compensation.)
5.If you have remote monitoring and control function, please insert one end of the included communication wire on the right of the controller (communication port), the other end to connect to The host computer.
Demolition: To prevent accidents, please order the demolition of solar panels, battery and load disconnect with controller.
Note:Battery polarity will not damage the controller, but you will have a load equipment security risks.

¢Ú Install the controller into a fixed vertical plane. See section 5 of the pore size and pore spacing. In order to ensure a good thermal control conditions, please set aside each 10cm below the controller space.
¢Û As shown on the right, connect the (1) Load, (2) Battery and (3) Solar Panel to the controller according to the order of (1) (2) (3). Pay attention to the load, battery, solar panel and controller of same polarity.
¢Ü Put the external temperature sensor into the left of the controller (probe port). The temperature sensor should be placed at the similar space of the battery. (Otherwise, the controller will control the parameters of all wrong temperature compensation.)
¢Ý If you have remote monitoring and control function, please insert one end of the included communication wire on the right of the controller (communication port), the other end to connect to the host computer.
Demolition: To prevent accidents, please order the demolition of solar panels, battery and load disconnect with controller.
Note£ºBattery polarity will not damage the controller, but you will have a load equipment security risks.

Installation
Install£º
¢Ù Get ready for tools and cables. Advising you to matching the right cables. Ensure that the current density £¼4A/mm2 that is conductive to reducing the line voltage drop. Recommendation: 30A with 10mm2 cables. Check whether the installation sites compliance with the relevant safety requirements. Please avoid the damp, dusty, there is a place flammable, explosive and corrosive gases use the controller to install.
